A research paper conducted by our founder, Garrett Crutcher Ph.D., is now available online.

In this work Dr. Crutcher investigates how modeling connectivity present during brain development shapes the networks ability to process information. By including this type of connectivity Dr. Crutcher showed an increase in the networks flexibility to novel stimuli, and generalizing information. This work stands as a foundational work that led to Fern Computing’s innovating growth models.
